WHY SUBSTRATE MATTERS
A Stronger Growing Program Starts at the Root Zone
A substrate influences how water and air are available around plant roots. The right blend depends on your crop, irrigation schedule, growing system, and production goals.
- Coco peat contributes moisture retention, holding water within the root zone.
- Coir fibre adds structure and helps create air spaces within the medium.
- Husk chips increase drainage and aeration for a more open root zone.
